Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Sale of wheat leftover seeds and mixed grain

BISA invites sealed quotations for the sale of wheat grain (leftover seed, mixed-variety grain, undersize & measurable waste) available at its research station in Lakhanwada, Near Village Sonpur, Jabalpur. Interested parties/bidders are requested to submit their quotations in sealed envelopes within the stipulated time frame as per the terms and conditions applicable.

The last date of submission of sealed quote by hand/Indian post: 28^th Jan 2026.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Signed quotation with date on organization’s printed letterhead should be sent;
2. Quotation proforma can be obtain on request from BISA farm, Jabalpur or via email request at procurement@cgiar.org.
3. Envelop should be superscribed as “Sale of wheat grain”
4. Prices will be as and where basis at BISA farm, Jabalpur
5. The product is sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, and no claims will be entertained regarding quality or condition after the goods are lifted
6. Wheat seeds (leftover seed) approx. 40 quintals be unpacked from BISA branded plastic bags (40 kg each) & rest to unpacked from Jute bags
7. Buyer will repack the grain in its own bags.
8. Associated labour & transportation cost will be borne by the buyer
9. Payment should be made in advance before starting the packaging
10. Payment and Invoice will be done as per actual weighment slip of BISA’s weighing bridge.
11. Validity of quote should be mentioned clearly: Minimum 60 Days

12. Demand Draft of INR 50,000/- as Earnest money deposit (EMD) in favour of Borlaug Institute for South Asia payable at Jabalpur.
13. Quantities may increase or decrease up to 10 % of the above-mentioned quantity
14. Whatever machine/equipment’s will be used for packaging/lifting, buyer will have to arrange it, will also be responsible for any cost incurred
15. Bags & stitching material will be arranged by the buyer
16. The produce should be lifted after confirmation through email and to be completed within 7-10 days.
17. BISA will provide the required space for temporary arrangement for handling
18. The interested parties/vendors may visit BISA farm Jabalpur for quality and quantity check during office hours i.e. 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
19. Documents like PAN Card, GSTIN, cancelled Cheque, MSME registration and ID proof of proprietor/s should be enclosed with quote
20. Sending multiple quotations from the firm owned by same person or family may lead to disqualify
21. Unsigned and or Incomplete quotations/proposal will not be considered.
22. All parties/vendors must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and government orders during the sale and lifting of goods

1. Selection of service provider for purchase of goods/ services will be done at the sole discretion of BISA. This RFQ may also be cancelled at any time without any prior notice to service provider (s) at the discretion of BISA’s Management without any liability to BISA whatsoever. E-mail or Telephonic queries with regards to selection process/progress of the procurement will not be entertained.
2. The list of documents required for financial evaluation are just indicative. Further details could be asked by BISA to examine the quotes in detail.

4. Any mis-statement in the financial proposals will lead to debarring of the Vendors from all future procurements at BISA.
5. Multiple quotations by a single entity/organization under the garb of related/sister concerns will be subject to rejection without further evaluation.
