Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA) invites quotation for the purchase of poplar seedlings 8500 plants, for its research centre at BISA Farm, Ladhowal, Ludhiana (Punjab).

Please note the following terms & conditions:

  1. Sealed & Signed quotation on the organisation’s/company’s printed letterhead should be sent.
  2. Envelope should be superscribed as “Poplar seedling”.
  3. Price should be FOR destination at BISA Ladhowal, Ludhiana (Punjab)
  4. Any applicable taxes (including GST etc) should be mentioned extra.
  5. Payment terms should be mentioned: Preferably after delivery.
  6. Unhealthy seedlings (if found in supplied seedlings), need to be replaced or payment will be deducted accordingly.
  7. Supply may be requested in two phases, if required.
  8. Delivery Time should be one week (maximum) after the order confirmation
  9. Validity of Quote should be mentioned: Minimum of 60 days
  10. Documents to be enclosed with the quotation/proposal:

– Proof of address

– ID of legal representative

– Bank statement/Cancelled Cheque

– Tax ID (PAN Card & GSTIN)

– MSME registration

–  Copy of the aadhar card of the properties/partners

  1. Sending multiple quotations from the firm owned by same person or family may disqualify.
  2. Incomplete quote/proposal will not be considered.

  1. Selection of the service provider for the purchase of goods/ services will be done at the sole discretion of BISA. This RFQ may also be cancelled at any time without any prior notice to service provider (s) at the discretion of BISA’s Management without any liability to BISA whatsoever. E-mail or Telephonic queries with regards to selection process/progress of the procurement will not be entertained.
  2. The potential vendor/s may be asked to give a presentation of their product/services to the concern person/s at BISA as a part of the evaluation of the proposal submitted.
  3. The list of documents required for financial evaluation are just indicative. Further details could be asked by BISA to examine the quotes in detail.
  4. BISA provides equal opportunity to all the eligible applicants to partner/ collaborate with us. Selection process is free from any sort of discrimination or nepotism.
  5. Any mis-statement in the Financial proposals will lead to debarring of the Vendors from all future procurements at BISA.
  6. Multiple quotations by a single entity/organization under the garb of related/sister concerns will be subject to rejection without further evaluation.
